New Delhi, December 2 | Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2021 Registration Date has been extended by the Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur till December 10, 2020.
The eligible and interested candidates who could not fill the Application form till November 30, 2020 can now fill the form till December 10, 2020 on the official website xatonline.in by registering themselves on the website.
The Registration for the XAT 2021 Examination had commenced from September 12 and the last date to submit the Application Form was November 30, 2020.
The exam is conducted for admission to XLRI Jamshedpur’s PGDM, PGDM-HRM and PGDM-BM programmes and for admission to over 800 B-schools in India.
Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2021 is scheduled to be conducted on January 3, 2021 in online mode at various centers across the Country.
XAT 2021 Registration – Steps To Register
To register for XAT 2021, follow the below provided steps:
Step 1: Go to the official website xatonline.in and click on Register
Step 2: Enter name, email ID, phone number, password (as your choice), state, city, and security question.
Step 3: Click on the “register” button.
Step 4: A verification email will be sent to you.
Step 5: Key in your login credentials and sign in to the dashboard.
Step 6: Clicking on “Apply Now”. It will redirect you to the application form page.
Step 7: Fill in the XAT Application Form 2021 page, enter all the required information and upload the essential documents in a prescribed format.
Step 8: Review the application form and move to make fee payment
Step 9: Make fee payment via credit card, debit card or net banking to complete XAT registration process
The Registration fee for XAT 2021 is Rs. 1,750 (+ Rs 300 for XLRI programmes) and Rs 2,000 ( + Rs 500 for XLRI programmes) for late payment of the fees.
XAT 2021 Registration – Eligibility Criteria
Some Important Eligibility Criteria for applying to XAT 2021 is as given below:
- Candidates appearing for XAT must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university
- Students in their final year of Bachelor’s degree or awaiting their results are also eligible to apply
- There is no age limit or minimum aggregate cut off for applying for XAT exam
XAT 2021 Registration – Examination Pattern
The XAT 2021 Examination will be conducted on January 3, 2021 for 180 minutes (2 and half hours) duration.
The candidates need to answer 99 questions for a total of 100 marks.
The paper will consist of 4 sections namely:
- Decision Making
- Verbal & Logical Ability
- Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation
- General Knowledge
For each correct answer, 1 mark will be awarded and for each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
0.10 marks will be deducted for more than 8 unattempted questions and there will be No negative marking in GK section.
XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test) is a national-level management entrance examination conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur for admission to MBA/PGDM programmes. Apart from XLRI and 10 other XAMI members, over 700 B-schools accept XAT scores for admission to their post graduate management programmes. The XAT question paper consists of 100 questions MCQs from Decision Making, Verbal & Logical Ability, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation and General Knowledge.
