NEET Counselling 2020 for 85% State Quota Started | Check Status of NEET Counselling for Various States

New Delhi, November 4 | NEET Counselling 2020 for 85% State Quota has started for different States on the individual official websites from November 1, 2020. Many of the States have already released the Rank Lists to shortlist candidates who will take part in the Counselling Process.

The NEET UG Rank List for different States are prepared by taking into consideration the  Cut-off marks / percentile decided by the State Authorities. The candidates had to Register themselves, fill the application form, upload the NEET result to be eligible to be considered for securing position in the Rank List 2020.

The Counselling Schedule has also been released by some of the states and others will be releasing it soon.

Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chandigarh and Telangana are some of the States whose Counselling has commenced.

While NEET Counselling 2020 for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats is being conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) which has already begun.

NEET Counselling 2020 For 85% State Quota Seats – State Wise Counselling Status

The Status of the NEET Counselling 2020 For 85% State Quota Seats for different States are as provided below:

Telangana

  • Telangana NEET UG Rank List 2020 has been released on November 1, 2020 by the Telangana’s Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences on its official website knruhs.telangana.gov.in.
  • The Telangana-domiciled NEET UG candidates can now check the Rank List 2020 on the medical college’s official website.
  • The University has released the cut-off for Admission 2020.
  • To participate in the Counselling Process, the candidates who are eligible and have required cut off marks can register online and upload scanned certificates from 8 AM on November 1, 2020 to November 8, 2020 up to 5 PM on website tsmedadm.tsche.in, as notified by the officials.

Andhra Pradesh

  • Andhra Pradesh NEET UG Rank List 2020 has been released on October 31, 2020 by the Dr NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada on its official website ntruhs.ap.nic.in.
  • The Andhra Pradesh-domiciled NEET UG candidates can now check the Rank List 2020 on the medical college’s official website.
  • The University has released the cut-off for Admission which are as under:
  • The Schedule for Registration and Counselling Process will be released soon by the Authorities.

Rajasthan 

  • The Rajasthan NEET 2020 counselling schedule has been released at rajugmedical2020.com. 
  • Application for Rajasthan NEET counselling started on November 1 and the last date to submit application forms and pay online fees is November 6. 
  • The authorities will publish the provisional merit list on November 9 and the result of the first round, after choice filling, will be announced on November 19.

Madhya Pradesh

  • Madhya Pradesh NEET 2020 counselling schedule has been released at  dme.mponline.gov.in.
  • Online Registration has started for the eligible candidates of NEET UG 2020 on MP Online portal from November 1 to November 10.
  • The State Merit List for the Registered candidates will be released on November 11 and the Choice filling and locking is scheduled to commence from November 12 to November 15.

Tamil Nadu

  • Tamil Nadu NEET UG Rank List 2020 has not been released yet. 
  • It will be released by Tamil Nadu’s Health and Family Welfare Department on its Official website tnhealth.tn.gov.in.

Kerala

  •  Kerala NEET UG Rank List 2020 has not been released yet. 
  • It will be released by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala at the Official website cee.kerala.gov.in.
  • The candidates have to upload their NEET 2020 Result on the CEE official website till November 4, 2020 to be eligible to be considered for the Rank List 2020.
  • The cut off and Counselling Schedule will be released soon on the official website.

Karnataka

  •  Karnataka NEET UG Rank List 2020 has not been released yet. 
  • It will be released by the  Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) at the Official website.
  • The cut off and Counselling Schedule will be released soon on the official website.

Maharashtra

  •  Maharashtra NEET UG Rank List 2020 has not been released yet. 
  • It will be released by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) on its official website dmer.org.
  • The cut off and Counselling Schedule will be released soon on the official website.

Uttar Pradesh

  •  Uttar Pradesh NEET UG Rank List 2020 has not been released yet. 
  • It will be released by the Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Lucknow on its official website www.updgme.in.
  • The cut off and Counselling Schedule will be released soon on the official website.

Gujarat

  • The Admission Committee for Professional UnderGraduate Medical Education Courses (ACPUGMEC) has started Gujarat NEET Counselling 2020 at medadmgujarat.org. 
  • To complete the registration process, candidates are required to purchase a pin, register their documents and verify at a help center.

About NEET Examination

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts NEET for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, Veterinary and other medical/paramedical courses in India. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is the sole entrance test for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in India. Conducted annually, NEET 2020 will be held across tentatively 154 test centres. With approximately 16 lakh test-takers, NEET is the most important medical entrance examination in India. Both AIIMS and JIPMER MBBS examinations have also been merged with NTA NEET.
