New Delhi October 12 | In a recent development Supreme Court has directed National Testing Agency to declare NEET 2020 Result on October 16. The Supreme Court has also directed NTA to conduct NEET exam for candidates who could not appear for the exam on September 13 due to COVID-19 or due to being stuck in containment zones.
The re examination is going to be conducted on October 14 as per the direction given by Supreme Court.
The NEET 2020 examination was successfully conducted on September 13, 2020 in online CBT Mode at various centers across the Country. NTA took all the necessary precautions to conduct the exam in a safe environment. The answer key for NEET exam conducted on September 13 has already been released and the result was expected to be released today.
The candidates who will qualify the NEET 2020 exam by obtaining the minimum qualifying percentile need to participate in the counselling process for securing admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and BVSc & AH offered in colleges of India.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts NEET for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, Veterinary and other medical/paramedical courses in India. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is the sole entrance test for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in India. Conducted annually, NEET 2020 will be held across tentatively 154 test centres. With approximately 16 lakh test-takers, NEET is the most important medical entrance examination in India. Both AIIMS and JIPMER MBBS examinations have also been merged with NTA NEET.
