New Delhi October 13 | The State CET Cell, Mumbai is conducting PCM group examination from 12th October
to 20th October 2020 at 175 test centers in Maharashtra. Due to power outage in Mumbai and nearby areas on October 12, some of the students could not appear for the exam.
The state CET cell, Mumbai has decided to conduct MHT CET Re Exam for such candidates on or before October 20.
Due to power outage the candidates appearing first session exam in five centres faced disruption during the exam.
All the candidates who appeared in the FIRST SESSION Examination at the above Test Centres are requested to check the new date and time for the PCM examination by logging into their account at https://mhtcet2020.mahaonline.gov.in. SMS and E mail communication will be sent to these candidates in due course.
The State CET cell Mumbai has also released a notice for candidates who could not attend the exam in second session as the Western & Central Railway Local Train services were affected due to power cut.
To safeguard the interest of such students, State CET cell may consider Re Exam if requests are received from such candidates and it will be informed in due course of time.
About MHT CET
MHT CET (MH CET) or Maharashtra Common Entrance Test is conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai for admissions to first-year Engineering and Technology programmes (BE/BTech) and Pharmacy programmes (BPharma/PharmaD) in the state. Till 2018, the exam used to be conducted by DTE, Maharashtra.
Candidates will be allotted seats in the different colleges of Maharashtra on the basis of candidates’ results in MHT CET 2020. It is one of the largest exams in terms of test-takers in India as around three lakh applicants appear in MHT CET every year. MHT CET is considered a relatively tough exam to attempt.
