GUJCET 2020 Result Declared – Check Details Here

New Delhi, September 5 | Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2020 Result has been declared today i.e. on September 5, 2020 by the Gujarat School Education Board (GSEB) on the official website gseb.org.

Candidates can check their GUJCET 2020 result on the official website by using their roll number as mentioned on the admit card.

Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) was successfully conducted on August 24, 2020 in pen and paper based mode (offline mode) at various centres for admission in B.Tech/ B.E and B.Pharma programs offered by the colleges in the state of Gujarat. GUJCET answer key 2020 was released on August 29, 2020.

Candidates must qualify the GUJCET cutoff to qualify the exam. ACPC will prepare the GUJCET 2020 merit list based on the marks obtained in the exam. Later, successful candidates will get the chance to participate in the GUJCET 2020 counselling. 

GUJCET 2020 Result  – Steps To Check

 Follow the steps available below to check GUJCET result 2020:

Step 1: Visit the official website www.gseb.org

Step 2: Then fill the six digits seat number in the given space.

Step 3: Click on the “Go” button.

Step 4: GUJCET scorecard will appear on the screen in PDF format.

Step 5: Check the details available on the result carefully.

Step 6: Take the printout of it and keep it safe for further use.

Candidates, who wish to get a xerox copy of their GUJCET 2020 answer key will be able to apply after the declaration of results.

For candidates from other boards, GUJCET 2020 marksheet will be sent via post, GSEB said.

After the counselling registration starts, the merit list of GUJCET 2020 will be released by the authorities. The scores present in GUJCET 2020 result will be taken into consideration while preparing the merit list. Only those candidates who are listed in the merit list will be able to participate in the counselling process of GUJCET. 

GUJCET 2020 Result – Merit List

  • The first GUJCET merit list will include the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from the recognized boards and for which, the percentile is available. The merit list will be prepared with 60% weightage of the percentile marks obtained in PCM, which will be combined with 40% of weightage of the percentile marks obtained in GUJCET exam.
  • The second GUJCET merit list 2020 will be prepared which will include the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from a board for which the percentile marks are not available. The merit will be prepared based on the 60% weightage of marks obtained in PCM after covering it to 100 combined with the 40% weightage of the percentile marks obtained in the GUJCET exam.

GUJCET 2020 Result – Counselling

The authorities will conduct the counselling of GUJCET 2020 in online mode by ACPC. The registration process had started on July 9, 2020 and was open till August 28 (5 pm).

The GUJCET 2020 counselling process is as follows: steps of registration, filling of application form, allotment of seats and reporting to allotted institutes. 

Allotment of the candidates will be done on the basis of preference, merit and availability of seats.

GUJCET 2020 Result – Cut-Off

The minimum marks which the candidates have to secure to have higher chances of admission will be present in the cutoff of GUJCET 2020. 

The authorities will release the cutoff in online mode. While preparing the cutoff, the authorities will consider a variety of factors related to the entrance examination such as number of applicants, previous year trends and more. 

It should be noted that the cutoff will be different for each course, institute and category.

GUJCET 2020 or the Gujarat Common Entrance Test 2020 is conducted by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB). GUJCET 2020 facilitates admission in the B.Tech and B.Pharm programme across colleges in Gujarat State. GUJCET 2020 was an offline test, i.e. a pen and paper based test conducted on August 24, 2020.

The conducting authority had revised the date of examination because of the COVID-19 outbreak. Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be held on March 31, 2020.
