New Delhi, November 13 | Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Child and the Registration for the same has started on the official website cbse.nic.in.
Single girl children who have passed the Class 10 board exam 2020 and have secured more than 60% marks are eligible to avail the scholarship schemes.
The eligible students can now register on the official website.
Candidates can apply for two CBSE scholarship schemes before the ending date:
1. CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Child for + 2 studies 2020.
2. Renewal of Online applications of CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Child 10 Pass awarded in 2019.
The last date to register for the CBSE Scholarship is December 10, 2020 and hard copy of application form (renewal only) has to be submitted on or before 28th December, 2020. Hard copies received after the last date shall not be entertained, according to the official notification.

CBSE Scholarship For Single Girl Child Registration 2020 – Eligibility Criteria
The Eligibility criteria for availing the Scholarship Scheme is as given below:
- All single girl students, who have secured 60% or more marks in CBSE Class 10 examination and are studying Classes 11 and 12 in a school affiliated with CBSE whose tuition fee is not more than Rs. 1,500 per month during the academic year, shall be considered for the purpose.
- The CBSE scholarship will be awarded to Indian Nationals only.
CBSE Scholarship For Single Girl Child Registration 2020 – Steps To Apply
In order to Apply for the Scholarship Scheme, follow the below provided steps:
Step 1: Visit the official site of CBSE on cbse.nic.in.
Step 2: Scroll down and click on the Scholarship link available on the home page.
Step 3: A new page will open where candidates will have to click on the CBSE Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Child 2020 link.
Step 4: Download the application form.
Step 5: Fill the application form and submit it.
Step 6: Keep a hard copy of the same for future reference.
