New Delhi, October 5 | Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2020 Registration will start today, October 5, 2020 from 2 PM on the official website jeeadv.ac.in.
The last date to register for the same is October 6, 2020.
The candidates having valid scores in JEE Advanced 2020 examination are eligible to register for AAT 2020.
The candidates who want to apply for B.Arch admissions into IIT (BHU) Varanasi, IIT Kharagpur and IIT Roorkee will have to attempt and qualify JEE Advanced AAT 2020. To apply for JEE Advanced AAT 2020, it is essential for all candidates to have qualified the JEE Advanced 2020 examination.

AAT 2020 Registration – Steps To Register
In order to register for AAT 2020, the candidates need to follow the below provided steps:
Step 1: Go to the official website
Step 2: Click on the application form link or direct link provided “ Apply for AAT 2020”.
Step 3: Candidates will have to enter their JEE Advanced 2020 registration number, date of birth, mobile number and email address.
Step 4: The preferred option among “Yes” or “No” has to be selected for the question – “Are you interested in AAT 2020?”
Step 5: The list of exam centres will be displayed and the candidates will have to select their preference.
Step 6: All of the required details have to be submitted by the candidates.
Step 7: After checking all of the provided details, the application form has to be submitted by the candidates.
AAT 2020 Registration – Examination Pattern
The AAT 2020 examination is scheduled to be conducted on October 8, 2020 in pen and paper mode at designated centers across the Country.
Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2020 paper will be of total 3 hours duration and the candidates will have to answer 16 questions from the following sections:
- General Knowledge
- 3D Aspects
- Geometry drawing
- Imagination and aesthetic sensitivity
- Freehand drawing
About AAT 2020
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Council has come up with AAT or Architecture Aptitude Test in place of JEE Advanced Paper-II for architecture for B.Arch admissions in IIT Kharagpur, IIT (BHU) Varanasi and IIT Roorkee. The admission in B.Arch course is still given on the basis of JEE Advanced AIR but for seat allotment in these institutes, the AAT 2020 examination has been made mandatory. The candidates who have a valid score in JEE Advanced can register for AAT 2020.
